Unable to restoe a version in content console

Our user tried to restore a version created previously, but got error message said "Snapshot (6f94417a1aadc410VgnVCM1000007449090aRCRD) expired by Policy_CT change at Mon Apr 27 20:24:29 CDT 2015".

Looks the CTD change caused the message. Does someone know any solution to make the version working?

You might want to try the solution mentioned in the following KB article.

Not sure on the basis of the information here if this will work, if not then I would suggest opening a support ticket so we can examine the logs.

I produced the issue on our dev server, update the changeDate of vgnRecordSource, but it's not working. I'm in vignette 8.5. Any other way to restore the CTD changed date?

Even if the change date can be manually changed to trick the system into attempting this, it may be unable to reconcile the version data structure (which is not touched by the CT change/synchronize process) with the current structure. There is an enhancement request to provide this feature in a future release. I encourage you to create a ticket to see if we can find a workaround depending on the nature of the structural changes that you have made.
