XML GUID for Revision Comments

Greetings,

If we want to use XML files when uploading images, and we want to enter a value for the Revion Comment with the image,

what GUID needs to be used?

Where can it be found?

Also, is there a separate GUID for each of the 3 options:
- Asset Inserted.
- Metadata Revised.
- Asset Updated.

Also, are there any other Revision comment options?

Is there a query I can run to get all the information I need, regarding this?

Let me clarify our exact need a little bit more.

We are exporting some images and their metadata (through an XML task), for a client, so that they can be uploaded into another system.

One field that they want, which is presently not in the XML files, is the "Revision Comment" field.

Is there a way that we can revise the XML task, to include the Revision Comment?

Please explain in detail how we would do this.

There are a handful of fields in MediaBin which are designated "System Generated' and not persisted in XML. For example, a revision comment is added when a file is inserted from the arguments given at check-in time. For that reason there is, unfortunately, no way to override this behavior and preserve the existing value.

What you could do is write a script that copied the contents of this field into a custom metadata field prior to retrieval.
