Unable to install Collab on Rhel6

Hi All,

Unable to install collaboration on Rhel6 (2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64), and getting below errors

./Collaboration_85_Linux-x64-setup.bin

          Initializing InstallShield Wizard........
          Extracting Bundled JRE.

                                        Bundled JRE is not binary compatible with host OS/Arch or it is corrupt.  Testing bundled JRE failed.

Please help to resolve this issue.

Hey Jayaram,

 

Please check if you have the following subset of packages installed (most are prerequisites for the whole CEM stack whilst some for the troubleshooting only):

cloog-ppl compat-libcap1 libXxf86vm libXxf86misc compat-libstdc++-33 libaio-devel cpp libdmx gcc libstdc++-devel gcc-c++ mpfr glibc-devel make glibc-headers ppl kernel-headers xorg-x11-utils libXmu xorg-x11-xauth libXt libXv ksh libXxf86dga eject xauth xterm bind-utils vim libXp libXt ncompress compat-libstdc* libXt.i686 libXp.i686 libXtst.i686 nfs-utils nfs-utils-lib portmap openssh-clients telnet ntp sysstat unzip

 

Can you confirm that your /tmp folder is read+write? The default RHEL 6.x is set to read-only. If you need you can override the isTemp flag by specifying your own temporary location.

 

Lastly – can you execute “getconf LONG_BIT” (without “”) on your installation target system?
