TeamSite 6.7.2 for XSLT PT?

We are currently on 6.7.1 SP1.

According to the XSLT presentation in Oct 2008, Sunny redirected some of examples that I consider necessary in 6.7.2. There isn't currently much documentation or examples as to Perl PT. (I cannot find the get_ofile example mentioned in the presentation either) In addition, the XSLTPTComplier setting does not work at the Template Type level in 6.7.1 SP1.

We would like to start new developments in XSLT; however, I feel that it is pre-matured for us to use XSLT in 6.7.1 SP1.

What is everyone's experience with XSLT support in 6.7.1 SP1 v.s. 6.7.2?

As I recall - the XSLT equivalent for getting the ofile name (or some means of distinguishing "preview" from "generate") did not work in 671SP1 and has, I believe, been fixed in 672 - so if you need that functionality in your XSLT-PTs - then you might as well wait until you upgrade.
Most of the rest of it worked as far as I could tell, but my usage was rather limited at the time, and I haven't done too much PT coding (Perl or XSLT) since then.

But please note that Iwov has simply added the java implementation of xslt (xerces) to Teamsite. So all functions that come with xerces are available but noting else. Iwov does not include a lot of 'supporting' code for xslt. No iw(re)gen f.i., I'm not sure if the 'regenerate' within the ts-gui works, etc.
