Search by Workspace or Folder

Our department REALLY wants to be able to search for folders that contain many documents. They don't want to search by document name because they really want to see the contents of a folder. Is there anyway to do this?

Hello Ruth, the only way I know you can search for workspaces and folders is as follow, but please note that this is not exactly what you need, becuase it is not possible to get as a search result containers inside the Filesite views.

You can try:

- Working in outlook go to Filesite menu and select "Search for Workspaces" this will show you a dialog where you can look for workspace (only workspaces) and select one of them to work on it, inside you matter worklist.

- Right-Clicking in "My Matters" + Add shorcut you can also launch a workspace search clicking on the top of the dialog. The result you select will be included in your "My Matters" list.

- Finally, for folder searching you can right click on "My Favourites" and once again on the top you have the possibility of searching for folders, and they will be added to your favourites.

However as you would see this is not what you need but it is the only way I know for searching containners, I don't know is possible what you say.
