Ephox - Trail Days Remaining

Hi All,

Recently we started experiencing anissue with Ephox - It doesn't load all the icons and also displays "TrailDays Remaining" as shown in the below diagram. This happens some times,when it happens it messes up with the content styles. Currently we havea temporary fix for it - we clear browser cache, remove Ephox temporaryfiles couple of times and it starts working. But after couple of timeswe see same error again.

When this happens we don't see any errorin javaconsole.

VCM Version - 8.0.3
Ephox Version - 6.7.5.39
JRE - 1.7.0_51-b13

Please let us know if you have any solutionor suggestions. Appreciate your help.

Hi Uday,

The steps to clear the cache, etc that you followed are the correct actions to take. From what I recall, that trial license message pops up if the user has clicked on any of the advanced features in Editlive but Editlive should still function even after it expires (if you don't do the cache clearing, etc.). I believe we only saw this problem with the older Ephox version (6.7.x) and do not see it on the newer ones that would come with WEM 8.1 and up.

Thanks Todd. We are seeing this error forthe first time in 3 years. We are planning to upgrade Ephox as supportsuggested, hope it helps - https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll?func=ll&objId=18029938&objAction=browse&viewType=1

Do you know Ephox version which comeswith 8.1? can we upgrade to Ephox version which comes with 8.1?

Hi Uday,

The highest version of Editlive you can have with VCM 8.0.x is ELJ 6.7.6.100 and it is downloadable from the link you posted. The highest version of Editlive we have for WEM 8.1 is ELJ 8.1.3.51.
