CGI Task | Second Time not transitioning to NEXT TASK automatically

Hi,

First time my CGI task works fine and initiates to next task automatically. But next time when same CGI task is called , it does not initiates to next task automatically.


Flow of my workflow is:
1. Content Author can submit the task to either of the approver's group (web approver, gwc approver)
2. Once he has selected radio button "web approval" or "gwc approval" (Job Initiation Screen) corresponding approver list will appear in drop down
3. Content Author selects the approver.
4. If the content is rejected, it will be routed back to Content author.
5. Content Author works on content and then he can again submit it for approval to either of group (web or gwc ).
6. Depending on what approver group he chooses, a CGI task screen is initiated with the option for selecting again his "Approving User"


Problem:
1. For first after the initiation of workflow, the CGI task works fine. Its transitioning to next task successfully.
2. But when content is rejected and sent back to Content Author , he again works on the content and tries to initiate the CGI task. CGI page appears. He re-selects his approver. But this time CGI task is not transitioning to NEXT TASK (Approval Task) automatically.
3. Content Author has to explicitly click on "Start Input Task" button of CGI task. Then CGI opens the CGI page and successfully transition to NEXT TASK

1. Under what condition CGI task needs to be invoked explicitly using "Start Input Task" button ?

Hi,

Problem got resolved.

I was appending "iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi" before my "cgi script file name". Beacuse of this I was getting 2 times "iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi" in the URL.

http://server/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/my_cgi_script.cgi

I removed the iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi" from "command" tag of "cgitask"

So now when cgi task was called it has just one "iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi" :

But now the problem is that my script is running in name of "iwui" user. Before it was running under actual user.

Any pointer how to fix this ?
