FieldMapping.xml issues

All, I am currently trying to add additional form fields to the fieldmapping.xml file to enable searching on those fields with the following steps.

1. Add fields to fieldmapping.xml file
2. save fieldmapping.xml file
3. run ./iwndxpurgebr [branch path]
4. run ./iwndxaddbr [branch path]

Now when i go to the search UI and select to search on forms, the form field that I added (PublishedDate) is not available in the drop down. Anyone have any idea what would be causing this issue? I've attached the fieldmapping.xml file for your review. Note that the dct is an 'xml' type.

take a look at the logs which should give u an idea about the cause of the issue.

After changing the FieldMapping.xml stop n start the index n search services accordingly so as to make sure the drop down list on Search UI is populated with the extended attributes so that the attributes can be searched down.
Also try resetting the ui with iwreset -ui if it doesn't wrk.
