repeating file does not exist error in iwui: ../launchpad/symantec

G'day,

I have a brand new installation of TS 6.7.1 SP1 on a Solaris 10 machine. I haven't yet begun implementing our customizations, but I'm just going through and making sure this install is bedded down.

In

iw-home/local/logs/iwui/error.log

I notice a lot of these repeating errors about a missing file:

[Mon Sep 29 09:58:43 2008] [error] [client 10.2.86.252] File does not exist: /Interwoven/TeamSite/httpd/webapps/content_center/teamsite/launchpad/com
[Mon Sep 29 09:58:43 2008] [error] [client 10.2.86.252] File does not exist: /Interwoven/TeamSite/httpd/webapps/content_center/teamsite/launchpad/symantec

The files indeed don't exist. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's causing them?

I haven't seen those errors in a while - you might try applying Patch 2 (# 4518), stop all the TS services, remove the log files and reboot and see if the errors still appear.

If they do still appear, try doing something like View > My Local Files - if that works, you can probably ignore the messages.

I applied Patch 2 (# 4518), restarted TS and cleared the logs and it the errors returned. The very next thing I did was create a new SSL certificate, restarted TS and cleared the logs again...and it looks like the errors have stopped. Not sure what the fix was...but it was something to do with that combination (maybe!). Anyway...much thanks.
