Hi All,Thanks in advance. I have seen the OD guide regarding the iwodcmd start would return a value (0-success, 1 - failed, 9 - incomplete). But when I execute the OD script, I am getting the following as output. Could anyone tell me how to get the status in numeric values please?Locating OpenDeploy service.OpenDeploy server host: localhost, RMI registry port: 9173 Got OpenDeploy service >>>>>-- Start deployment global\filelist_odconfig. iwodstart running in default synchronous mode. Need to wait for deployment to complete. >>>>>-- Deployment global\filelist_odconfig finished: ID: m11 Start time: Tue Sep 30 16:33:44 CDT 2008 Status: Completed Status details: All targets got completed statusThanks!Jenni
echo $?
echo $status
on windows you can use Perl to get the return code of iwodcmd. run the clt using system command and print the value of $?.
C:\> iwodcmd start test.........C:\>
Understood (at least by me) - the question was (or seemed to be) whether you could determine the exit status within the command prompt shell if you ran iwodcmd directly from there. e.g.:C:\> iwodcmd start test.........C:\>Is there something you can type at the prompt there to get the exit status of the previously executed command?
On Windows: echo %errorlevel%The whole idea of relying on non-portable Shell scripting to do this sort of things is somewhat dubious IMO.
