Customizing ContentCenter STANDARD

I'd like to customize (and extend) the user interface in ContentCenter Standard (not professional).

I am new to teamsite and have just experimented with ContentServices, however I am not sure whether this is the right approach to customize CCStandard.

Could you give me any hints what kind of framework / classes / servlet or JSP adaptions are usually used for this requirement?

Refer to the manual "TeamSite UI Customization Gudie".
This will let you know step-by-step procedure for customization.
