Upload of a document via Worksite Web with All Parameters

We have the need to upload a file to a worksite database via worksite web, the objective being that the url, should pass all required information in terms of the profile and prompt purely for the source document for upload.

eg The following parameters passed:
Author, Description, Custom14,comments, class, subclass

Has anyone doe anything similar/suggestions or have asp code we could adopt?

If you want minimal interaction with the user, then I suggest you use WorkSite Web web services. You can create your own aspx page that will prompt for the file. On post, you would call the web services to check in the document with the profile and security as you see fit. WorkSite Web web services are available on the same box as WorkSite Web at http://server/worksite/services/iwovservices.asmx. Documentation is available on the WorkSite Tech Support site or in the WSW installation package.

Be aware that in the web services uploading/checking in documents is broken until they fix it in patch 6 - which is due out "soon."
