Dummy Task in WFM

I am uisng WFM 1.0.1.1.
I need 2 write a WF where user can schedule the workflow.
Once schedule, i want to call a dummy task,set the timeout as the deploy date selected by the user.
Howver I could not find any timeout property for dummy task....Please let me know how to set the timeout period.

WFM uses a different model (no pun intended) in terms of defining some of the attributes of tasks than what WFT does. Timeouts are specified on the links not the tasks - ergo you need to use a Timeout Link from your Dummy Task to the task you want it to activate when it times out.
