Edit default folder permissions?

Does anyone know if there is a way to change what rights the user has within the folder permissions in MB 4.6.1?

Our client wants a combination of rights between CHANGE and READ. THey want to be able to upload, view, download but not delete. CHANGE has too many permissions and READ has too few.

We were hoping to edit the set of rights or create a new set of rights. Can this be done?

The short answer is "no" although people have hacked the solution by modifying their client to not display buttons they do not want accessible (e.g., hiding the "delete" option).

You are not the only customer to feel that the Change/Read gap is too wide and it is being considered for a future release. I can say definitively, however,that this is not addressed in 4.6.2.
