HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

Hi,

I am encountering a strange error while previewing presentation templates. I have 5 presentation templates in one of the datatype. I can preview (open filecontent in browser) 3 templates but for 2 files i get the following error,

HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
Server: Netscape-Enterprise/6.0
Date: Wed, 18 Feb 2009 13:44:10 GMT
Content-length: 142
Content-type: text/html

Forbidden
Forbidden

Your client is not allowed to access the requested object.

I am not able to figure out why this error is coming. Can anyone help?

A HTTP/1.1 "403 Forbidden" on iPlanet is same as "401 Unauthorized"
which means that the Page/file exists but is only accessible to specified users.

Can you paste the exact URL and the file/location from which you're trying to preview ?
Are you generating the output html pages and then previewing them ?

- I am trying to just preview the presentation template. Not any output html.

The issue got resolved after I modified the problematic files to change the time stamp. After modifying files, the preview started working fine.

But I am not sure why this kind of inconsistent behaviour although we have set the preview setting to .iwmnt and not iwmnt.
