hey any one please help me to submit a file to teamsite from local machine.

My teamsite installed in a remote box.i want to submit a file to teamsite from my local machine with the javaSCI interface or using SOAP.

can any one have a sample.please provide me to finish my job

I am not getting what exactly you want to try.

If you want to take files from local machine to teamsite, then you can use import functionality of teamsite. You can import single/multiple files in a branch/workarea.

Let me know is it your requirement.

1.i already installed team site in my remote machine A.
2.i deploy all the html and js using opendeploy and i submit the file to teamsite staging area by login to teamsite and submit.
3.but i have also maintain some java file as well jsp.i am going to deploy this file from some other machine using opendeploy.but what i have to do is .i have to maintain the version for the java as well as jsp file.

4.i refer the book they told that we use JNDI or SOAP or JAVA SCI interface to connect content center.

5.i have to connect content center from outside of teamsite.

Can u halp me to do...

Which book you are referring?

To maintain the version of files i do not think can be achieved without teamsite.

It appears that you are trying to submit files from outside of workarea into staging and create version. interesting..

I am not sure if this is possible. Are there any Teamsite API exposed OR functions that could be used to acheive this? This may be some kind of hacking that would not be supported though. ( may not be the best thing to do )

Are you using TeamSite and OpenDeploy (which versions) or are you using ControlHub?
Is the deployment mentioned in '3' being done from a BaseServer installed on "some other machine" - or are you doing a reverse deployment from your BaseServer running on the TeamSite server?
When you say you want to "maintain the version" - are you talking about maintaining the same version numbering in TeamSite that's being used in some other source control management system (e.g.: CVS)? Or are you just talking about having the Java files versioned within TeamSite?
If you're using OpenDeploy to get the files to your TeamSite server (in some workarea - yes?) - then you could probably run a DNR script on the TeamSite side to take care of running iwsubmit to version the files. Is that what you're looking for?
