Teamsite Restrict Access Check box unchecking issue

we are in the process of migration from Teamsite 6.1 to Teamsite 6.7 sp1
on Solaris.

After migrating the Branches as well as WORKAREA from 6.1 backing store
to 6.7 sp1 , I am seing all for al the branches restrict Access under private being checked, Also I can`t even modify it even as the owner of the branch(s).

iw.cfg:

branch_security=off
workarea_security=on
branch_default_perm=775
workarea_default_perm=775
file_default_perm=664
directory_default_perm=775

I tried wth branch_security being on, I got the same case.

Try logging in as someone with Master privileges - and then go through the Add Users With Roles process (or use the iwaccess CLT from a command line)

Thanks for the reply.
Actually I logged in as Master user ,still I cant modify the restrict Access check box.
Every time I modify it and save it, and when I recheck the properties I see it again checked.
In short I cant modify the restrict Access check box even when I am having master also the owner for the branch.

Do you modify the checkbox from top to bottom i.e. from top branch and then going into the sub-branch and workarea.?

I am able to modify in the sub branches but not able to modify the same in the root branch(s).

I have the exact same problem on Solaris 9, migrating from 6.1 to 6.7.1 sp1. We have a support case open with Interwoven and this appears to be a bug. I will post the bug number once I receive it.

The work around that we beleive should be :

change the permission for the directories( branch as in teamsite) in 6.1 backing store as :
775 and then copy over the store and mount it teamsite 6.7 sp1 or migrate
to 6.7 sp1 backing store.
This way you modify the restrict access check box of the directory on 6.7 UI.

It seems that this resolved our problem. We had to also chmod 775 all migrated workreas.

I will tell if we encounter any new problems.

Well, same problem came back. We did iwaccessmigrate again and some iwidmapping and now every workarea, which I create, has "Restrict access to this workarea." checked. If I uncheck that and save, that "check" mark comes always back.
