Loading the ‘new page’ link from an external application

Hi,
I have a situation where I need to render a new .page from the external application but I am not able to get the correct url to open a new .page from browser.
Please suggest me how to load a new .page from external application.

Hi

What i understand is that, you want that on the click event of an link present on the external application you would like to open a new .page.

If it is so,then i don't think that this will be possible because opening an .page you have to login to site publisher ,navigate to your site folder and give the command of "NEW PAGE " using file menu.

A New page is not opened by an url ,it is an action command mentioned in ui_common.xml.

So,in this case it is not possible.

are you trying to link to a page in runtime or in Content_Center?

For CC
you would need to build a link similar to the preview command link

command...?vpath=fullpagevpath...

if you go through the preview command link login should be handled for you.
building the full vpath will be the tricky part.

for runtime just look at the format of a rendered page link.
