TeamSite Search

Icebreaker

Hi There,

I am getting the following message whenever I try to hit the 'Search' button in the GUI.

"The branch //icmsdev1/default/main/nonportal/CFNA/Branch_Office is not indexed for search."

What I did is this...

1. Added the branch '/default/main/nonportal/CFNA/Branch_Office' to branches.cfg
2. ./iwndxaddbr /default/main/nonportal/CFNA/Branch_Office
3. Restarted the index and then restarted search.

Why I am getting the above? Is that anything else i missed? Kindly advice.

Regards,

Does the CLT iwndxlistbr return this branch?
You need not restart the search and index service for this branch to be indexed. Any other error message in logs? Is this problem on TS65 or TS671?

it also take some time for it to actully complete the index... depending on the amount of content..

Guys,

Thanks for all your replies.

1. Yes 'iwndxlistbr' clt listed all the branches configured in the branches.cfg.

2. I did stopped and started Index and Search.

3. That was the only error message I got.

4. I did this last friday and I am still getting this error.

5. (a). Added the branch in the branches.cfg.
(b). Issued ./iwndxaddbr /default/main/nonportal/CFNA/Branch_Office to add the branch to the index.
(c). Issued ./iwndxrefreshbr -b /default/main/nonportal/CFNA/Branch_Office
(d). Issued ./iw.tsindex stop
(e). Issued ./iw.tssearch stop
(f). Issued ./iw.tsindex start
(g). Issued ./iw.tssearch start
