Turn off active clipping paths in layered psd files upon ingestion?

Is there a way in MB 4.6.0 or later to turn off active clipping paths in layered psd files upon ingestion? If not, how would the preview appear?

Would this be more of a download task to do this?

In Photoshop clipping paths do not display in the preview, only when the image is placed in Illustrator or InDesign or some such application.

However, the second part of the answer is that MediaBin does not currently have a way to change the status of a clipping path. For future reference could you expound more on the eventual use case?
