I have an issue where the profiled author name being returned from the IManDocument class is not returning the most up to date information on that user.

For example, the surname of an existing user is changed (e.g. when they get married). The value is updated through Worksite (e.g. Worksite Web) by the Interwoven Administrator. The changes are visible from the MailSite (8.0) profile dialog and from any admin screens that display the details of the user.

However, when I invoke the GetAttributeValueByID(imProfileAuthorDesciption) method of an IManDocument object, the old value is being returned, as if this object is being cached on the middle-tier worksite server.

For example, the following Word VBA function is being called within the FileNew() method:

Do you know what I can do to ensure that the method being invoked always returns the latest data?
