How i get the url of the current page while using component

Hi All,

I am creating the page with many components and page have one email component which will email the current page url to either the configred mail id or the provided id.

I think I can do it with the javascipt code with "document.location.href",but is there any way to get the same from the component(is any predifined interwoven tag).

In 3.1 (and probably 3.0) you can use $PAGE_LINK[.] in your component, which will be replaced with the full URL of the current page.

Did you get it working? the $PAGE_LINK[.] is relative, not a full url.

Hi,

I am working with 6.5. and I am unable to get the current page url using pagelink approach.

I wrote custom class for populating drop down values. In That class I need current page url and based on the url i need to get locale, segment and i need to select the values automatically. For my method PropertyContext is the input parameter.

I am unable to get the path. Which is giving null.
String path = (String) context.getParameters().get("Path");

when i try to print context.getParameters() it is printing $PAGE_LINIK[.]

in component my datam is

$PAGE_LINK[.]

But unable to get the path value.

Please do the needful.
