Changing Time Deploy Time

My users would like to be able to change the date/time of a timed deployment once the job (workflow) is instantiated and active and before the timed deploy task is active - or actually the dummytask that is waiting on the deployment date/time.

I don't see the timedeploy date/time value anywhere except in the properties of the "wait" task (that dummytask which is waiting for the time to deploy) once it is active.

Is date/time value of a timed deploy available from the workflow tab and can it be changed once a job is active but before the "wait" task is active?

I do know (and correct me if I am wrong) that once a task is active its' properties can not change - so - once my "wait" task is active I can not change the date/time of deployment.

I think you need to create a custom menu item that takes either a jobid or taskid (perhaps through some level of abstraction) and then access and creates a task object for the dummytask, retrieves the timeout value (e.g.: TeamSite::WFtask::GetTimeout) and then use the tools at hand to modify that value (e.g.: TeamSite::WFtask:etTimeout) - you'll probably have to do some interpolation to present the existing timeout in human readable format and potentially to translate a human-entered value into WF-desired format.

You could also do this in a cgitask script within the workflow depending on your process flow...
