Livesite workflow Query
rajnikant
Hi - We are using Livesite default workflow to publish page from Sitepublisher to Livesite Runtime application server. (Site publisher 3.0, Teamsite 6.7.1 sp1, Unix)
We have artchitecture setup in such a way that static files like images, js, css etc.. should be served from Apache webserver and .page files from Livesite runtime Application server. I have modified default "opendeploywebroot.xml" open deploy config file as mentioned below, used two noderefs each for app and web server and specfied filters, targetrules in replicationfarm itself.
So just wanted to confirm if anybody tried this before and is this the right way of doing this?
Appreciate your help ASAP.

Hi,
You can change according to your requirement in OpenDeployWebRoot.xml, but while changing this you have to take care of LiveSite deployment concerns. Livesite also perform Data Deployment, "Publish LiveSite Content" OOTB workflow uses _Metadata.xml file for deploying in DB.
If you do not performing DD then you can simply use "OpenDeployWebRoot.xml".
HTH,

Yes, not using DD
