RE OTMM-Hybris Asset search 2

Hi Richard,

Thanks very much for clarifying. I’ll pass this over to the customer.

Niranjan: MG are on version 16.

Regards,

Shilpa

Hi Shilpa,

What the customer is reporting is actually a feature since v16.

The Asset Assignment Dialog opens in the same context as of the last successful search condition with the reasoning being that it is time consuming having to start again to browse down to the location of the assets.

The suggestion is to release a patch in the 16.2 release with a configuration switch such as “recoverLastSearchCondition” to disable/enable this behaviour.

Xaver and Abdelmalik cc’ed are aware.

Best Regards

Richard

What version of DAMLink Hybris extension are they running on?

Subject: OTMM-Hybris: Asset search

Hi All,

We have MG Technology using OTMM with Hybris. They have noticed the following with search:

After assets are searched from Hybris Product Cockpit and selected for assignment, when they return to the search page again, the previous results are retained
Please see the attached doc for details.

Can someone clarify if this is the expected behaviour or if there’s a switch that can be turned off to ensure they have a clean search window?

Thanks,

Shilpa
