Rollback Problem

Hi,
I am executing a DNR like this -

<script cmd="$DDcmd" as="root"/>

Where $DDcmd is the command to execue DD script(using iwodcmd). Both OD deployment and database deployment is running fine but when I deliberately failed the DNR, the contents deployed by OD are not getting rolled back. We are using filelist base deployments.

Any pointers would be of great help.

Are you saying that $DDcmd is the actual command to invoke DD - or it is a script that runs DD?

If the former - it needs to be the latter. If the latter, you need to show us that script.

Your Script has to inform OD Engine that the "Run" part of the DNR failed. You do that by printing the following into STDOUT:
<response code="-2"/>\n

Also, I have scheduled my OD deployment where in DataDeploy is called from an IPL using DNR. Both OD and DD deployments are successfully completed at the scheduled time but still in the log it shows -

Without schedules, logs show status completed. Do we need to print something to STDOUT if we use schedules?
