how to change return format of getPreview() in mediabin?

Hi all,
I inserted one transperant image in mediabin(GIF and PNG) and trying to view that image through getPreview() method. It returns byte array with JPEG format without image transperancy. Here i lost image background transperant(transperant for background color).

and i came to know that JPEG format doesn't supports image transperancy.

How can i get my asset with image background transperant?

Here i want to set getPreview() method's return type as asset's format which i have inserted.

To put it simply, you can't. Previews are precomputed at insertion time. You would need to run an actual retrieval job.
