Hide User task

Hi

We are using WFT.We have to design a workflow in which there are two types of approvers
1) Optional Approvers
2) Override approvers.

Flow is like this:
1. Content Author creates content
2. Content Author may select a optional approvers and overrise approvers from two list of approvers on Workflow initiation screen
3. Content Author submits the content for approval(Submit for Approval)
4) Mail goes to first approver.
5) If the first approver approves then mail goes to send approver...
6) If any of the optional approver is not taking ownership for a long time, then workflow initiator can override the approvers(By clicking on Notify Override Approver button)
7) Mail has to go to all the override approvers at a time.
8) If any one of the Override approver, approves the conetnet , files will deploy to Production.

I have "Notify Optional Reviewer" Mail Task to two concurrent ones.One is Reviewers' "GroupTask". Another one is Author's User Task which will notify "Notify/Group Task for the Override Group".

The above two concurrent tasks are visible to both WF initiator and approvers.But only intitiator is able to cilck on 'Notify Override Approver'.

Issue:

1) Once the initiator click on 'Notify Override Approver' button, optional approver is still able to take ownership of the task to deploy files to prod.
But it should not happen.Please suggest me if you have any thought to resolve the issue.

2) Can we hide the 'Notify Override Approver' user task from the reviewer's task list

Sorry for posting same query again.

My intention is to put all the flow at place.I.e I have updated my workflow by implementing the comments given by earlier post.Still Iam facing some issues.

To get clarification for the issues, I have specified the same flow once again at one place.

If it is not required, I can delete my thread.Please let me know.

If you have any clue on my issues, please suggest me.

It might have been better if you had kept things in the same thread, or at least referenced the previous thread and stressed / emphasized the distinctions for this thread.

For #1: you need to specify resets and inactivate settings - read the WF Developer's guide and/or Workflow Tutorial Supplement for more information.

For #2:

In general, I'd agree - the reviewers probably shouldn't see that task - but if they have master privileges or are viewing all tasks - then it does make sense that they'd see it.
