Can not stop OD receiver

Using Interwoven TeamSite 6.7.1 Service Pack 1, OpenDeploy 6.2.0 receiver
I am having trouble to stop OpenDeploy receiver by using /etc/init.d/iwod60 stop. Every time it hangs there and then I have to kill this process. But after that, I have to properly stop OD receiver in order to start it.
The reason for me to restart OD receiver is that there is a running deployment stuck for ever. Restart the OD base does not help at all.
The followings are the error message I got:
From the OD receiver the specific deployment log:

Basically if OD is waiting on a deployment that is hung, you cannot cleanly shut it down,
you need to kill the process.
You should try to figure out WHY the deployment is hanging.

You are right, I have to kill the process in below first and then restart OD receiver. Is there anybody know why a deployment is hanging based on the error message I posted?

You need to get the logs (sender and receiver) and post them
BTW, they can be quite large, so you way want to make certain you are not posting logs that contain days or months of data.

Not certain off hand, but this:

implies the deployment is not stopping (waitign for the target). Your logs do not show exactly what target it is waiting for.

When I have experienced OD hanging in the past it often comes down to networking issues, particularly with DNS. You will want to check odrcvr.log as well.

is pathregistrychecking enabled? IF so, turn it off to see if the issue goes away. IF it does take a look at this CLT -> iwodcmd serverreset -clearpathreg

After some research with the help of this forum and IW docs, i was about resolve this issue.
The resolution was to remove the attribute
pathRegistryChecking="yes"
from the
listenerProperties
tag from
odbase.xml
.
