Active Directory and SSL

TeamSite 6.7.2 SP1

We've configured TeamSite to use SSL.

OOTB TeamSite connected to our AD allowing us to add users to TeamSite without configuring the user_database.xml file, so we have not told TeamSite what ports to use to connect to our AD.

When using SSL in TeamSite, without having configured the user_database.xml file, is TeamSite connecting to the AD using the default SSL port of 636 instead of the default non-SSL port of 389?

We have to go thru a TRA and want to make sure we pass on the first go.
