can't create dcr

hi,
i am not able to see File-Create New Data Record in my teamsite login. Although the teamsite templating is installed. Also, I am not able to view the Teamsite templating and select or create templates. please suggest on this???

Are you sure that you are inside a workarea when you try to create a new DCR??? Teamsite while show you the "create new data record" option only at certain locations within your backing store structure. Also, are you sure your templating.cfg is correct?? Is there a templatedata directory?? have you got all the datacpture.cfg's needed??

Allright, i fixed up the problem no 1. now when i say File - New Data Record, I get the error below :
Templating Error Page
No categories available for /default/main/WORKAREA/Abhitest. Please contact your system administrator

I configured all the datacapture.cfgs also.
Can you plz suggest something on this ASAP? thanks,
