Worksite Web service Error - The function requested is not supported

Can someone please help.

I have installed worksite web 8.2 on two new servers. Worksite web works fine on both servers but when i try to do a soap call to the following web service

http://{SERVER]/WorkSite/Services/IWOVServices.asmx

i get the following result.

HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
Content-Length: 100
Content-Type: text/html
Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
Date: Wed, 01 Jul 2009 06:14:58 GMT
Connection: close

ErrorThe function requested is not supported

I am able to see the web service in the browser and i know it is there. But i dont know what this error means. Is there something i need to enable on my IIS server or permissions i need to grant?

Please help this problem is driving me crazy.

Do you see any error in the event log?

What version of .NET is installed on your box. If you have multiple versions, could you check what version is associate diwth worksite virtual directory( it should be 2.x ) Do you have SharePoint 2003 or anyother apps installed on this web server?
