Can I edit component content while previewing page

Hi all,

I have two question to be cleared,

1) Can I edit component content by open the .page not by clicking the edit link, if can, is there any references or guidance.

2) What is "in-context-edit" what it does, is there any manual

Can anyone please share these documents or links.

The In Context Edit component renders a link on the live production page for the SitePublisher Page Editor environment to open with the Edit Mode set to In-Context Edit.
Not all components can be edited in this fashion, and this feature is not available from the edit and preview areas.
