Alert's not working on firefox

Hi All,

I am trying to handle on change event for a field in the JS file using form API.
for the testing purpose I inserted few alerts in that but some how I was not able to get any alert while creating the DCR's (on firefox).

Then I repeated the same steps (created the DCR's) on IE and surprisingly I was able to get the alerts .

This is some kind of strange behavior . Did anyone came across the same ?

For checking i created a html page with a alert value and opened that in IE as well as firefox and I got the alert in both .

Is this the issue with form API or something else , if anyone can comment .

Check caching in FF -- make sure that is not causing any issues.

Also check the JS error console in FF to see if there are any JS errors that is throwing off FF (perhaps IE is able to handle them better than FF????).
