Is "ALL" a reserved keyword for workflows?

HI ,

Whenever In Teamsite I create a file or folder with a name consisting of word "all" (e.g demo_all,townhall,etc) Then
On Submit Behviour of the respective file is unexpected.
(e.g Generally on submit it should show two options- 1.deploy to bea vcr 2.default submit
But It just shows single option-default submit. It doesnt shows the deploy to bea vcr option.)

Is it because that the word "all" is defined into the workflow which is being used in this case is creating such problem.

It could not be. Check your config files as there might be a silly mistake which you could not thought off. Check submit.cfg / available_templates.cfg etc.

Are you using available_templates.cfg ?

What happens is that when you restrict something in a regex (branch 1 = yes, branch 2 = yes, all = no) if those are not ordered correctly and it hits the all=no first, then that is the entry chosen.

Check available_templates.cfg and put all of the defaults as the last of the choices.

np, that is really a pain that has been around for a *very* long time. James Koh (one of the lead IWOV developers) posted about this 4 or 5 years ago.

Starting from TS 6.7.1 SP1, both available_templates.cfg and available_models.xml supports the new schema of logical operators (and, or, not). For example:


<allowed>
    <and>
        <command...>
        <branch...>
        <user...>
    </and>
</allowed>

Using this format, you should have full flexibility plus less confusion.
