SSIs not resolving

Good afternoon,

I'm having an issue with SSI references not resolving properly. Here is what we have done:

* Add the iwproxy_isapi.dll entry to IIS's ISAPI filters

* Ensured IIS will serve SSI's with a .inc extension

* Added the following iwproxy_preconnect_remap regex in iw.cfg so that all paths prefixed with /common will resolve to /iw-mount/default/main/common/WORKAREA/work/htdocs/

[iwproxy_preconnect_remap]
_regex=^.*ork/common/(.*)=/iw-mount/default/main/common/workarea/work/htdocs/$1

In one of my pages, I have the following SSI:

Test.inc resides at Y:\main\common\WORKAREA\work\htdocs\includes\scripts

I receive a "The include file '/common/includes/scripts/test.inc' was not found. " error message.

I know the remap regex is working, the proxy is properly remapping non-SSI resources. Anyone have a clue what else might be the issue?

I *beleive* you also have to set [iwproxy_plugin_remap] section(s) of iw.cfg, see "Enabling Server-Side Include Requests"
in the TS Install Guide and 'Configuring SSI Remapping' in TS Admin Guide.

Did you restart the webserver when you made those changes ?

The manual talks about debugging SSIs but they are a pain to debug.

I restarted IIS and TeamSite, to no avail.

What do you mean about debugging SSIs? I tried running the iwproxy in debug mode, but the error bubbled up before iwproxy begins to remap paths (At least I think that's what is happening - iwproxy is not producing output when the page is requested) If there is documentation that I've missed, could you point me in the right direction?

From the section of the Admin manual titled Configuring SSI remapping:

If you want to debug regular expressions, set the value for _debug in the
[iwproxy_plugin_remap] section to true. On NES, debugging information is stored in
the Web server error log file. On IIS, this information is stored in
C:\temp\iw_isapi.log. This log file can grow extremely large over time.

After some fiddling, it appears that when _docroot is set, either in my custom section or in [global_default_map], the SSI's path resolves with respect to that (i.e. Y:\default\main\ADMIM_Intranet\WORKAREA\work\htdocs\common\includes\scripts\configuration.inc)

When I remove references to _docroot, the SSI will then resolve to the intended physical path of Y:/default/main/common/workarea/work/htdocs/includes/scripts/configuration.inc

Of course, not setting _docroot breaks all absolute paths on the page...

Anyone know how to resolve this?
