Creating component from HTML source

When I create component from XML/XSL source, we are usingschema provided by TS to create the XML amd this xml is converted to HTML and displayed in content mode when I click on edit component.

Now when I create component from HTML source, this is what is stated in manual

1 Copy the HTML to your system’s clipboard

What HTML do I copy to the clipboard ? From where do I get this HTML ? Can I include any HTML in this place ? How will fields of this HTML be compatible with the TS ?

I am not very well versed with the use of HTML as source so if question itself may not be very clear. Pls explain the HTML source in little more detail as pdf manual does not give enough details.

It is just saying that if you have a HTML page then divide it into blocks. Now each block can be a component. So take one block and create a component HTML type. Copy and paste all HTML source code of this block into Appearance section. Save component and check it.
