Stock Checker component

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody else has tried the stock checker component? It seems to be getting an error at the line where it references services.xmethods.net:80. In the preview pane of that, I am getting an unknown host exception. Is there any other host we can change this to so that the component will work?

I tired to check that out, but its not working

That component uses a public SOAP server for stock feeds which stopped working unfortunately. The component is effectively deprecated due to this dependence.

The components from LiveSite 3.1 release (TeamSite 6.7.2) have components that use Web.urlGet external which effectively does what the stock checker component was doing and also AJAX based components which are probably a better display of dynamic updates.
