JDK installation

Hi All,

I have one basic question.
Whether we need to install first JDK1.4/1.5 before we install TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1/6.7.2 or it will be installed automatically as part of TeamSite installation?

TS 6.7.2 uses JDK 1.5.0_14 (as noted in the Release Notes page 21) and it is included in the installation package.

So as per your comments, we no need to seperately install JDK 1.5.0_14 for TeamSite 6.7.2, right?

You should not need to install any JDK. It will be included in your iw-home/tools/java directory. You could use those JDK to do a sitepublisher, livesite, targetting install as a standalone module.

Are you concerned about the server-side Java environment or the browser / client-side JRE ?

I am concerned about only server side Java environment.
