TS 6.7.2 Upgrade Issue

Hi All,
We are in the process of upgrading TS from 6.7.1 SP1 to 6.7.2 SP1. I reviewed and upgraded rest of TS product family to be compatible with 6.7.2 SP1. The install went smoothly with no errors. But after the upgrade my TS GUI or website is not showing up. Its giving me a page not found error.

We are on Windows 2003 servers. All the Interwoven related services are up and running. I dont see any errors that suggest TS is having issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked at the servletd, access, and iwtrace (and probably some others) logs to see if you have something that is pretty obvious?

Looked at all the logs, nothing that throws a red flag. License is valid and was regenerated. I can see the mounted drive and access it through the file system. Their is no access log generated as I am not able to get to TS.

Are you able to ping the TS server or are you directly trying this on the TS server?

Also you didn't change any of the default ports or any other configurations or anything, right?

Yes I'm able to ping the website and it comes back with a valid response. There were no changes to the port from the way it was configured back in 6.7.1

You need to log on and do some debugging.

Is the y: drive there ?

Run iwreset -a as an admin

and juck for kicks rebooted the box after restarting TS services

Yes the Y:\ is visibile and browseable using the explorer.

We also faced the same issue, when we upgraded the TeamSite version 6.7.1 SP1 to 6.7.2 SP1. The TeamSite server was running fine but GUI was not coming up.

We noticed some errors in the log files related to permission issues and certificates issue. You need to be more careful, while checking the errors in the log files.

Please verify that the files/directories has the required permissions and try to re-generate the certificates.

Got this resolved by IW Support -

For some reason, the iwwebd service did not get installed. We had to manually install this service which took about 30 mins of hacking registries and other things.

If you get stuck with a 404 / site not found error message after upgrade, get support on line - easiest way to get it resolved!!!
