Open deploy deletes other files from webserver.

While deleting a file from a perticular path in Teamsite using Delete publish wokflow, it deletes the that perticular file as well as few other files from webservers !
The logic is, it compares the STAGING area of that branch with the Webserver root directory of same branch.
Then it deletes the files (from webserver) those are not available in STAGING of Teamsite.
Now can you think of an option (probabilty TS config ) where it deletes only the perticular file without comparing the folders???
I also feel this is one of the Teamsite upgrade issue.

Check OD Manuals. This is normally done using doDeletes with File List Deployment.

Basically, you set doDeletes "on" and list Files to be deleted at the target. As long as they are not present in the
source, OD Receiver will remove them. All that is documented, etc
