needs headsup on a requirement

Hi all,
we want to use news and events components(two) that uses some filters.
one component displays only date and heading and is displayed on all pages(displays the information regarding on what page it is,
when this component is on page1, it shows some info and on page2 diff info...)
second component is on news and events page, where it displays the image, date, posted by,introduction and a LINK.
when user clicks on link, the detalied page of the event should be displayed.

we want to make it dynamic, that based on the expiration dates, the dcr should be deleted and the link page too.

we are planing to create a page first and while publishing, we liek to add the EA like expiration date, intro,posted by, image and publish to database and so that the above two components can fetch data from database and display

Is there any feasible solution for the requirement?
any quick help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Not quite understand the relationship btwn both the components?

For removal of link you can keep running a cron which would check the expiry date, if passed then delete the dcr, remove the page associated this dcr (best would be based on database relationship btwn dcr and page) run the datadeploy to remove from database.
