freestyle - div vs freestyle - table

We are using Teamsite 6.7.2 SP1 on a Windows 2003 server and are also using LiveSite We have just started developing components for a new effort and are going to be migrating the code to a newly built TeamSite server. The sites on the current box were set up using freestyle-table layout types but we're running into display problems and feel that maybe we should switch to freestyle - div layout. We are not sure of the work that will need to be done on the existing components once they are moved to the new environment as well as the pros and cons of using either of these page layouts. We are new to SitePublisher and any guidance and lessons learned would be a great help

Most of the components by default using div layout rather than table. So if you want to customize your component layout then you need to touch some livesite configuration files. Pleas take a look on the above article.
