Hi,

I am curious to see if there is a way to get iw-home through cssdk. In perl, you can use something like:

my $iwhome = TeamSite::Config::iwgethome();

to get the iw-home. I am looking at the cssdk api, specifically com.interwoven.cssdk.filesys, but I don't see a way to get the iw-home.

In CSSDK docs there is an Interface CSInstallationObject which contains a method:
getInstallHome(): Gets the location of the installation home directory of the product.

There is a cssdk_doc.jar file at \\iw-home\cssdk\docs location. Unzip this jar and you will get the cssdk documentation.

Thanks, looks like it could be useful. But it depends on your iwinstall folder according to the documents. So if someone was to mess with their iwinstall folder, this might give some exceptions.

I haven't tried it yet. But it is highly recommended that don't mess up with iw-installation directories.

Yes, I know, don't mess with iwinstall folder. You'll run into lots of troubles with upgrades, uninstall, reinstall, etc....
