Hi,
We need to find the documents or images that were selected inside a textarea of a DCR. What can be the best way to do it? What I am thinking is parse the DCR node by node, as textarea nodes are not having some specific names, and then finding the pattern - & lt;img and make an array of all the assets found. Is this the right way of doing this?

It's certainly an approach - however - if you name your textareas consistently - it will make your parsing much easier and more efficient

also, if you know that img tags could occur only inside textareas, one could probably 'brute force' regex the DCR. Not that I like the idea, but could be done Smiley Happy

I've implemented a similar kind of functionality for one of the clients. I've have parsed the DCR and looped through the nodes to get all the digital assets(images, css, etc.) in to the DCR. Regex would surely help in here. Sounds to me this is the best apporach.

I guess every consultant has a file called something like wftAttachAssets.ipl somewhere handy Smiley Happy
