When I click on preview, I get to see how will the page look.

How does the preview function work ? When I click on the preview whats the mechanism that previews that page ? When I click on preview button, does it trigger an http request for the page to IIS or Apache ? So when I create a page does it automatically get stored in a directory in IIS or Apache ? How does the IIS or Apache map the request to this page ?

Pls exlain.

Please read the manuals and take some training. At some point people are likely to stop answering questions that you should be able to answer through making at least the minimum amount of effort yourself that one should expect to have to go through when embarking on working with enterprise applications.

Preview generates a file within the workarea and then sends a request to open that file to the customer web server which has a virtual mount point that allows the webserver to access the contents of the files within TeamSite.
