Is there a way to "hide" a folder from a user who doesnt have access to it? In TeamSite 6.7.2 sp1 CC Professional

I'm pretty sure there's no way to do that in TS. I think the best you can hope for if you want to not have people see certain folders is to have those foldres inside another folder and set the security on the outer folder so that folks can't get in it to see the other folders. Maybe someone else has a better suggestion.

temporary generated files are hidden from TeamSite. Not sure what rules/configurations the UI uses to do make them hidden. Maybe you can look into how that works.

One option may be to set files to be 'private' or have 'autoprivate.cfg' rules- they do not ever get submitted to Staging. Having assets 'private' puts a red dot against the asset - probably not what you wanted.

Maybe what you really need is independent workareas with some virtualization and submit.cfg rules.
