Hi,We are looking at setting up a UAT Teamsite 6.7.2 environment to complement our current Production and Development environments. The question of whether we can use our current development server to install a second installation of Teamsite using Virtual IP addresses came up when talking about saving the costs of the new hardware.Has anyone done this before? Is it even possible - the first thing that sprang to mind for me is whether the Teamsite kernel module handling the NFS iw-mount would have issues. This install would also include OpenDeploy and MetaTagger. Thanks Andy
The UAT instance of TeamSite would be a distinct instance of TeamSite and would require its own license. Whether you can obtain that license as a "Development" license or whether it is considered "Production" or some other form of license (and thus affecting the price) is between you and your Interwoven Sales Representative. The only way you can use your existing Dev server for UAT is if you actually do use your existing Dev server for performing UAT.
has the original poster raised the issue about not having another license or you are just implying this somehow?
