Utility daemon configuration settings are not getting reset.

I am facing some issue while resetting the TS services on our dev environment.
“Interwoven Servlet Engine” error is appearing in the GUI.
We have worked on all possible scenarios but unable to trace out the root cause.
i am getting following error while restarting server :

# /iw-home/bin/iwreset -a

UI Screen error :
The Interwoven Web Daemon was unable to contact the Interwoven Servlet Engine. The Interwoven Servlet Engine may be down, or running on an unexpected host or port.
Please contact your system administrator.

Please provide any inputs on this. we r really stuck here...

You should probably open a case with Interwoven Support - though it looks like some configuration file got munged somewhere:
