IWSTOREADM: IO error

Hello Board,

after a server reboot the backing-stores are not mount in Teamsite 6.7.1. If we run iwstoreadm -a default, the command is failed with "Unable to activate store: I/O error".
The iwtrace.log says "Backing Store default is currently locked by process 4582 on pepi".

The lockfile is stored in every backing-store directory.
Can we unlock the backing store or delete the lockfile?

Is your backing store on the local hardware or mounted from a NAS/SAN device?

I'd contact Support before doing anything though.

It's good you contacted Support - my guess is that your SAN device still has locks on the directory and that you need to make sure that you properly shut down TeamSite and perhaps even the SAN - and then bring them back up (SAN first) and see if the problem goes away - but I'd suggest waiting to hear back from Support first.
